The Asia Cup Cricket tournament scheduled to be organised in every two years. This is the 16th Edition of Asia Cup Tournament.

Sri Lanka has Participated in 15 Asia Cup Tournament, the most Asia Cup tournaments followed by India, Pakistan and Bangladesh who have played 14 each

After the completion the Asia Cup 2022, the Winners table says that, India is the most successful team in the tournament with 7 titles with 6 ODIs format and 1 in T20I format. Sri Lanka is the second most successful team, with 6 wins, while Pakistan have won two titles. Other Asia Cup 2023 Qualified teams are yet to achieve the Asia up Title.

Teams qualified for Asia Cup 2023:

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, these five full members of the Asian Cricket Council are Directly Qualified for the Asia Cup 2023. Nepal, the Sixth Team qualified in to the Tournament by winning the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023.

These 6 teams are Qualified to Contest for the Trophy. Sri Lanka Is the Defending Champion team, who own the Asia up 2022 hosted by UAE.

Who will host Asia cup 2023

Asia Cup 2023 is the 16th Edition of Asia cup Series which is also known as Super 11 Asia Cup. the matches to be played in this tournament will be One Day Internationals (ODIs) format. Initially, the Asia cup 2023 schedule to be hosted by Pakistan. But due to Indian Govt not allowed its team to visit Pakistan Due to Some Diplomatic issue Sri Lanka Will be Co- Hosting the 2023 Asia Cup. India will Play all its Matches in Sri Lanka. this is the first Asia Cup to be Hosted by two countries, where 13 Matches all total to be Played out of which four matches to be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka will Host the remaining nine matches.

Asia cup 2023 Cricket Groups:

On 9th January 2023, the groups and format of the tournament was announced. All the Six Qualified Teams for Asia Cup 2023 are Divided in to two Groups.

As you Know, 13 matches will be played, it includes six league matches, six Super 4 matches, and the final. the defending champions Sri Lanka was is in Group B with Bangladesh and Afghanistan. the Asia Cup 2022 Runner Up Pakistan is with India and Napal in Group A.

The top two teams from the Two groups will progress to the Super 4 Matches and the top two teams of Super 4, will play in the final.
